Dear Westside Community,
We are grateful to be offering in-person services while respecting the provincial restrictions. We welcome you and your family to register for an in-person service or if you are in a high-risk category, you may choose to watch our services online on our Facebook page WCC online. will be following the guidelines and bylaws set out by the City of Lethbridge and the Alberta Government.
Here’s what you can expect for our in-person services:
Attendees will register online at mywestside.ca for in-person services. Registering online will enable us to contact attendees in the unfortunate case that someone contracts COVID-19.
We will have physical distance seating with directional arrows and ushers guiding people to seats. Please seat children under 3 on your lap. We are offering a Kids Program during the service for children ages 4-12 and ask that children check in at the registration desk located on the left after entering the building.
Masks are mandatory as per the City of Lethbridge bylaw with the exception of the temporary removal of masks for those performing the service or one of the other exceptions listed in the bylaw. (See Lethbridge.ca for more info.) We will have some masks available for those who don’t have one. Children 2 and under are not required to wear masks.
The welcome team will assist attendees in following directional arrows and maintaining proper social distance. Government guidelines discourage visitation in the lobby before/after the service.
We ask that you use the upstairs washrooms where an attendant will be available to sanitize regularly. Please use hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the building.
Prior to attending these events, we encourage everyone to take the self-assessment screening available on the Alberta.ca website prior to attending. Do not attend if you or anyone in your household are experiencing any of the symptoms listed on the self-assessment, have travelled outside Canada in the last 14 days, or have come into contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
Thanks again for your patience, support, and grace as we begin to move forward together. I am so blessed to be your Pastor and am excited to meet with you again, while we do our very best to keep you and our Westside Community safe.
In this together,
Pastor Bert Faulkner
