Church update re: Covid-19

Hello Westside!

Considering the Covid-19 outbreak worldwide and the possible fear that some may be feeling, we wanted to take some time to articulate how Westside Community Church will move forward in our current situation.

While we are not meeting for Sunday Services, we plan on delivering our Service online. We are also planning times to connect through facebook live, messenger video chats, and Zoom We hope to keep connected with our church family and community. Visit our Facebook Group, “My Westside Community” for more details

Continue to hold onto your faith and do not let fear cripple you. Let’s put our full trust in God, our protector and healer! Below are some Bible verses and promises for you to declare over yourself and your family during this season of sickness:

Psalm 91:5-7 (CEV) – You won’t need to worry about dangers at night or arrows during the day. And you won’t fear diseases that strike in the dark or sudden disaster at noon. You will not be harmed, though thousands fall all around you.

Psalm 91:10-11 (GNT) – No disaster will strike you, no violence will come near your home. God will put his angels in charge of you to protect you wherever you go.

Romans 10:13 (NIV) – for, Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Luke 12:25-26 (NIV) – Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) – Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
